Firefighter and Police Demonstratrions

Police K-9 demonstrations conducted by the Johnson County Sheriffs
Office and Olathe Police Department K9 handlers. They will show
the abilities of their K9 partners, Figo and Draco, by showcasing
article searches, narcotic sniff, aggression control, and more. Police
dog demonstrations will start at 7PM followed by Firefighter
demonstrations. Event is FREE.
At approximately 8PM, or immediately following the completion of the
Police Dog Demo's, Fire Dist. #1 (Gardner) , Fire Dist. #2 (Spring
Hill) , and Fire Dist #3 (Desoto), along with the Olathe Fire Dept
will perform an extracation demonstration using the Jaws of Life and
other specialized rescue equipment. The fireman will also have
various heavy rescue and specialized fire equipment on display for
viewing, including an aerial unit and more. Fire Dept personnel will
be providing educational instruction to the audience throughout the
demonstrations. Also FREE!
